Children of the Forest

Session Summary

• Jedi Knight Panye “Pan” Landoong assigned a group of initiates and padawans to assist in overseeing a camping trip for the younglings. 
• Avril Waver took the lead on roll call. 
• Omott Pell encouraged the Twi’lek boy Torve to come along, with the assistance of Avril and Soga. 
• It was a long walk for the children, and some of the adults. 
• One of the children became alarmed when their Loth-cat ran from the group to hide up a tree. 
• The Loth-cat was spooked by a Horned Kath-hound nearby. Rkela tracked and scared it away before it could bring harm to the group. 
• Keel and Omott helped get the child and the cat out of the tree. 
• The group got to know each other along the way. Rkela and Keel share a past, while Omott was intent on learning more about Keel. 
• Soga and Rkela took the initiative on establishing the camp. 
• Three children went missing, having stolen some supplies. 
• Avril took Rkela with her to follow one set of tracks. Keel and Omott followed the other while Soga and Pan watched the camp. 
• The Twi’lek boy Torve was found webbed to a tree by a large, green Kinrath. Omott and Keel repelled the creature and saved the child.His glasses did not survive the encounter.
• The Kage sisters Mecli and Chegri were found at different points- One had cloaked themselves with the power of the force. The other, less fortunate, touched their arms off poisonous ivy. Avril and Rkela rushed them both back to camp. 
• Pan and Soga prepared an antidote to stem the poison. Avril in her panic had contracted it, too. Both the initiate and youngling were promptly treated. 
• The trip ended with a bout of swimming and a climbing competition headed by Keel.
