R’kio’s Recollection of Meditation on a Mountain -
I stood as still as I could. The motions was familiar. Meditating and locking into that trance gets easier with time. This time was a bit different. I am used to meditating with lots of people around. But this time there was only a few others. I stretched out, listening for their thoughts and emotions, but the force guided me elsewhere, downward. There was no feelings, no emotion, no reaction to presence. Yet there was… something. It did not desire to understand itself. There was no sense of awareness. What was there, simply was.
And it was big. Massive. Stretched down from where we started the climb and even miles below the surface of Dantooine. There was no desire, no thought of planning, no urge for adventure. It was a reminder of my people. This was what it was like to focus on rocks and trees. This mountain and its connection to me offered me a glimpse into what it was. And that was it. It simply was. I no longer wished to understand. I had no desire to improve anything about me. What I was was just that. For a little while, for that small flicker of time, I was… completely. Just like the mountain.
