Kharos

A stark contrast to verdant Talereth, Kharos is a craggy, high-gravity world of towering mesas, crystalline deserts, and long-abandoned ruins. Once a hub of arcane innovation and elemental mastery, the planet was shattered by an ancient cataclysm: a magical collapse that fractured its leylines and plunged much of the surface into glacial desolation.

Only a handful of sky-bridged cities remain, clinging to geothermal vents and arcane stabilization fields. Despite its dangers, Kharos is still revered for the enduring quality of its old magic. Many of the system’s most powerful relics are said to originate from this lost era, though few today understand how they were made.

The planet’s remaining arcane academies guard their knowledge fiercely. Whether they aim to prevent another collapse… or reclaim the glory that caused it… remains uncertain.
