Title: Keeper of Balance, Arbiter of Weighing Stars
Symbol: A scale balanced with a star on one side, and shadow on the other
Domains: Judgment, Balance, Memory
Lore:
Naelun is the cosmic scale — the one who remembers all that has been done, and all that has been lost. They are invoked when choosing between justice and mercy, vengeance and forgiveness. Their followers seek not domination, but equilibrium — even if that means restraining one’s own cause.
In early Choir doctrine, Naelun served as the binding center between the extremes of light and dark. But in recent ages, their presence has diminished, their rites declared “inconvenient” or “too impartial” by Mandate reformers.
“Before light may rise again, it must first be weighed.”
Mandate Practices:
Only a handful of quiet devotees still study Naelun’s rites — ritual remembrance, starlit trials, and the weighing of dreams. Some suspect that more detailed fragments of Naelun’s records still lie hidden within Concord archives or sealed temples.
Among the Choir, Naelun represents the anchor of cosmic reckoning — a presence that persists, even when ignored.
