On the eastern edge of Highwater's port district, Guild Depot East serves as one of several sanctioned distribution hubs for the Mercantile Guild. Brick walls, slate roof, and wide warehouse arches give it the unremarkable look of any freight post. Farmers and craftsfolk queue to offload goods or file trade permits, while carts rattle through its yard beneath a rusted iron sign reading, “Guild Oversight: Transit Chapterhouse, Depot East.”

To most merchants, it is a straightforward coordination center — part ledger office and part loading dock — where caravans are tallied and shipments assigned their routes. The work is methodical, the paperwork precise, and the gossip limited to prices, weather, and road conditions.

To those with the right connections, the depot is also a discreet waystation for off-world cargo. Certain crates conceal hidden compartments, while select loads are quietly moved through a basement passage linked to Wildspace dock relays. A disguised lift beneath the rear warehouse drops to an arcane-fused tunnel leading to concealed spelljammer docks in the nearby dormant caldera.
