Highwater’s strangest roofline is not a temple spire or merchant tower, but a shattered dome where the stars never stop turning.

Perched high on the cliffs of Alyndra, the Tumbled Orrery hangs half in ruin and half in the sky. Great brass arms and crystal spheres drift above its broken observatory, locked in slow, silent orbit. The ancient machine still charts the heavens it was built to follow. By day it glints like a fallen star. By night it mirrors the constellations drifting overhead.

Locals say if you are lost in the stars or haunted by omens, the gnome who lives there might have answers, or at least the right questions. The place hums with old magic and older riddles. Some believe time bends under the spinning rings. Others claim it is the only spot in Highwater where the sky truly listens.

It is not on any official tour. But if you climb the upper terraces and follow the scent of ginger tea, you will find the archway wrapped in ivy and dreamfern. Beyond that, the stars are watching.
