Description

Your thing: football (American or association), football (the other one), hockey, basketball, or another team sports

Moves

Start with one of Brawn over Brains and choose one more:

When you recklessly charge into battle, mark the angry condition and roll +Brawn. On a 7-9 choose one:

  • You can remove the angry condition whenever you want
  • You don't smash anything too important

Whenever you have the angry condition, take +1 ongoing to physically assault anyone you don't like, and don't take the -2 penalty to intimidate people.

Running Tackle

When you charge at someone at full speed and try to knock them down, roll +Brawn. On a hit, you're both knocked off your feet and you and your team take +1 ongoing against them until they regain their footing. On a 10+, choose 1:

  • They take 1 harm
  • Gain a string on them

Social Circle: Star Athlete

Your athletic talent can earn you a place of great respect in the school's social hierarchy. If your thing is a team sport, your social circle comprises of the rest of your team. Otherwise, your social circle is a group of other athletically-minded students like yourself. Archetypes can include: team captain, future pro athlete, rising star freshman, dead weight, and cheerleader.

Whenever you roll a 10+ on a feat of athletic skill or physical strength, gain a string on one teen that witnessed your action. On a 12+ you can choose any one witness.

Additionally, you always have influence on the school coach. If you don't have a string on them at the start of an episode, gain a string on them.


Recovery

Decompression - Get your head in the game! You can decompress through training hard, leading your team to victory in a match, or impressing your coach.

Lash Out - Watch it, Loser! You lash out at a weak target, projecting your troubles onto them. Choose another player characters and confront them in the school halls, either verbally or physically. Clear all your conditions.

  • If they stay quiet, they mark a condition and you lose all strings on them as you break their trust.
  • If they fight back, they gain a string on you as the two of you cause a scene


Advancement

Whenever you get to 5 experience, clear your experience and choose one. When you mark your 2nd and 4th advancements, increase one stat by +1.
