What Does the Fox Say?

The party heard word of a kitsune who wondered into town and all wanted to talk to her. As Fioria Finastasia was the only one who spoke sylvan she did most of the talking for this entire quest. We found out the kitsune's name was Kokoro and she had left her village to explore and got chased by monsters farther away from her village till she eventually came into town.

After discussing what she traveled through to get to First Landing we headed out towards the southeast. Upon reaching the coast we were attacked by a giant mutated hermit crab and swarms of tiny mutated crabs. We managed to repair the boat the crab was wearing as a shell and found Kokoro's boat nearby. We started out from shore onto the ocean the next morning.

After 2 hours on sea in a constant fog bank we met the first of the 3 sea hags that made up the coven. She gave us a map to the island and when we all got back in the boat we were able to follow the map and head to the island with no further incidents.

When we got onto the beach we were ambushed by crab and frog people that tried to attack us but we quickly dispatched them. On the way to the kitsune village we found 2 more frog people holding the 2nd sea hag above the water trapped inside a net. We released her and she gave Larian a gift of true strike in return for his health. We managed to find the village without anymore trouble and after talking to the village elder we found out that members of the village were being forgotten and mentioned their people hold their personality traits as their biggest piece of themselves.

Putting together that the sea hags take what they hold most dear we figured out the sea hags were taking their personality and making them be forgotten. We briefly entered the nameless camp and soon set off to find the sea hags. We stumbled upon a shrine and as I pulled out supplies to clean it 3 spirits came out and were upset one that had dealt with the hags were with us. We knocked the spirits out healed them then talked with them about the hags.

They gave us a piece of cloth to help ward of the evil hags and we set out to find their cave. The fight with the hags went quick but not before Kokoro gave her personality up in order to save her love who we saved 40 seconds after she gave herself up. The final Sea Hag managed to barely escape and we will be returning to the island shortly in order to finish off the last hag and fully restore the village.
