Full report: Tamiko

Tamiko Sato of House Miyagawa wanted to ask the native populations for their perspectives, so they went to Watchers' Tribe Village. The Kobolds were still on edge, sending the otherworlders to rid the Greyspine range of Bugbear pirate activity in exchange for the information.

While traveling, the party encountered strange shrouded creatures waving skulls and demanding gold to avoid a curse of misfortune. Though most of the party scorned them, Eilen fulfilled their demand at the last second, lifting the curse they'd unknowingly received. A few days after, they discovered the corpses of a pirate and the creatures, dead by explosion, and took back their belongings (+extra) before properly burying the corpses and skulls.

Later on, they sought shelter from an oncoming storm, only to be interrupted by the clouds spawning air-Nieznane bats, which they destroyed. After reaching the Pirates' hidden base, they found the clouds pouring from it. Unable to speak Goblin with the guards, Tamiko managed to communicate an intent to dispel the clouds, and they were allowed in at gunpoint. The ozone-filled interior was arduous, but they managed to disrupt the offending summoning circle in time, taking a rest break only to be ambushed by the guards (Corinne showed no mercy).

Investigating the rest of the base, they found many corpses and the dying medusa-hybrid captain who explained that the pirates' prospects and lives had been snuffed by misfortune, and left her fate in the party's hands. She was healed, and left peacefully. The party reported success, and the Kobolds held to their deal.
