Zinlynndise Imare here! Another adventure with Bethany Claie and Syltorin Margaster and Dolen Harven. So, I would often walk past the big ole board with our lil island on it, and it was clear there were so many places not properly mapped and just a blank on the page. So I thought I could be the one to map some of those places. And with the help of (a lot) of magic, I actually could!

So we gathered some phantom steeds and a little row boat and made our way to the Abandoned Pirate Cove to set off on our expedition. That took about a day, but that was on land over mapped terrain so no biggie. But boy, I never knew just how vast the wide ocean could be! We were riding horses through waves like it was nothing! A little scary, but also very exhilarating that it works!

Of course, the novelty wears off as it's just mostly riding and surfing. Lots of salt water too. After 5 boring days, we found this strange stone monolith of sorts. After digging through it, we discovered some dwarven contraption that was both a trap and a vault. And by trap I mean it explodes, then, er, has a gassy sound. I’m not sure if it was a prank or not. There was a flag with dwarven text on it. Hopefully we can get it translated.

After that, the hum dum next few days go on quietly enough as we circumvent Gozreh’s scar. On the 8th day, I spotted some serpents chasing us in the waters. No matter what we did, we couldn’t scare them off, so we had to fight. And boy was that scary - phantom steeds vanish under the slightest of hurt. And these serpents breath lightning bolts! I had water spells prepared, but it was a struggle for Beth, Syltorin, and Dolen to stay afloat. Be careful if you try horse surfing like we did!

We slew one of the serpents, and the distraught serpent family finally backed off to mourn. Syltorin somehow befriended one of the serpents - he won’t tell me how and I’m extremely jealous. The serpent was cute but so unsure somehow, he ended up leaving us in the morning. But at night we were ambushed by fey hunters that wanted to eat our feet. Syltorin, Beth, and Dolen were able to convince them to leave us alone - I don’t speak Sylvan so I couldn’t do anything. All in all, day 8 was super busy.

On the 10th day we were basically outside King Aseron's Court. While we were camping for the night, an undead elf approached our camp. He couldn’t remember a thing, not even his own name! I offered Korwe as a suggestion and he took to that name. Of course Korwe couldn’t really answer any of our curious questions, but he did offer to join us for a bit.

After that, the rest of our circumnavigation went pretty uneventful around the other parts of the island. When we got home the guild gave us a clock for our efforts! Neat!
