Full Report

So yeah, seemed like First Landing's been having a pest problem. The guild reached out to me, Kit, explorer extraordinaire, and a couple of other fine folk to help out all these poor shops, cuz it seems like a bunch of the weasels keep stealin' from the food stocks and goods. Somehow they managed to make a whole cabal by workin' through these tunnels under and around the city. Personally I have to give them some praise for the chutzpah, but I couldn't abide by that myself, because of course that just means there's that much less for me to steal in the future, and I took that personal-like. Not to mention it sounded like a chance at some free dinner. Not that that gave me any kinda motivation, mind. [Guild Note: We do not condone theft.]

So's off we went to good 'ol General Gilbert's Goods. Seems the last group that tried to play exterminator came through there and pushed the little tykes back. We go in the hatch like good 'ol Gilbert told us and started to explore the tunnels. First bit went pretty easy, ran into a fork in the tunnel and Anya Nikolaev decided to flip a coin, and the coin dictated we take the right path. See, this sings ta me, cuz gold knows what it knows. Ain't gonna get an argument outta me, so to the right we turn.

It don't take long before we find ourselves surrounded by hundreds of the little tykes. And honestly I was thinkin' we'd get a free meal out of the things, but hells were they a smelly bunch. Turned my stomach right and proper, I'll tell ya. Made me so disappointed thinkin' we'd have to be eatin' on these rations that I made sure to stab at the swarm of weasels doubly good. I's tellin' ya, I looked flashier than a million gold, I did. Good thing too, cuz I really saved all our hides. [Guild Note: Further analysis shows Kit ineffective in combat versus such swarms.] So's we keep goin', and my keen sense of smell picked up on the little critters before anyone else even finished blinking. Seems just down the tunnel a bit further, we find the kingpin of this whole operation. A pair of massive weasel beasts paired with a bunch of little snacks normal sized weasels tried to jump right on us.

We knocked out a bunch of the little ones, but the big ones tried to flank us. But in the end, I got the better of 'em all! A battle for the ages, everyone else was down and dyin', and that last, massive weasel and I had a stand-off. We stared at each other and traded blows and parries, my rapier against the Weasel King's massive axe, for what felt like an eternity, posing our weapons and trading quips. Such sights would be sung for ages! But one misstep from the self proclaimed weasel king and I had the upper hand, placing the point of my weapon directly into the heart of the monster. The beast has never seen such splendor in battle, even his eyes were tearin' up from the sheer beauty of my final strike. So rest easy, citizens of First Landing, cuz your foodstuffs are safe and sound for me to steal later.

[Guild note: The final paragraph appears to be nothing but falsehood, likely the unconscious dreams of Kit when he was knocked unconscious. The team in actuality was overwhelmed and almost killed by these supposedly large weasels. The party was forced to recall. Once knocking him out, we suspect their leader tried to force Kit into the bag of weasels to make him one, resulting in a partial transformation. We have examined the Amurrun and discovered he had partially been transformed into a beastkin of some ilk, but he does not appear to be harmed. Our mages are also curious as to the world that Kit seems to live in inside his own head, but this is perhaps a discussion for yet another time, with professionals. The weasels remain at large, confirming that the cursed bag of weasels appears to be the source of the infestation--along with at least one highly intelligent weasel in question.]
