A rescue party was formed to conduct a thorough search for the goblins missing from the local camp. Suspicions arose that the serpentfolk and foul play were involved. Lysandros and myself, we sought the expertise of Sandnex and Peter in the tracking aspect of the journey.
The trail wasn't hard to follow, and it didn't take long before we were catching up to our intended quarry. The serpenfolk fight hard, and their tactics are adaptive and unpredictable, but with the sharpness of Lysandros' spear, Peter and Sandnex's senses and my wit, we made it through just fine.
They implore a variety of combat styles and tools. Ranged combatants, magic users, flying mounts and large brutes. After several harrowing battles with them, we fought off what appeared to be the last of them in a temple of sorts. They were attempting to sacrifice the young on some sort of altarr. We managed to rescue nearly all the captives and return them safely to their families. Further investigation of the temple is recommended.
