Full Report

For better context of the report, here is the description of the job we took: "Bandits have been sighted on the road close to Roanokae Camp. A group of bugbears have assaulted a couple of caravans, leaving bloody carts and very few survivors. Raket, allied leader, is seeking trained mercenaries that can take care of the issue."

We departed in the morning through the Elemental Portal Shrine south of First Landing, arriving at the Roanokae Camp where we met Raket, the allied leader of the coalition. He explained to us that the Bugbears of the Republic of Jagriarius had been attacking civilian caravans in the trade road between the settlement and Sunnyside, quoting "had never ventured that far" - [I suspect this will devolve soon into a more aggressive approach from the Republic, thus I suggest to monitor frequently this bellical situation]. We decided to act as a bait, disguised as a civilian caravan, to ambush the bugbears once they attacked us, as we were provided some resources by Raket to do so.

It took us one day to finish our preparations, needing to wait for the day after to begin travelling through the mountain slope. However, we soon met our first inconvenience of our journey - a boulder had stuck and broken the north bridge. Ema Line and Xavier and Velio were able to identify that Fey were trying to solve the issue, giving us the alternative to use the Republic's bridge instead - a choice we took, and that proved to be a wrong idea. Due to our lack of knowledge about the bellical situation, the border security guarding the bridge reacted illy to Maximus's orc heritage, who in this continent are allied with the The Coalition, devolving into a fight where we had to break through the bridge's borders, fortunately doing so without any cassualty in either side.

After a sheltered stormy night, we made our way back to the north trade route, running into remnants of the civilian carriages after following the mountain slope before we got quickly surrounded by the bugbears. They were using what I recognised as a firearm, and bycicles propulsed by fireworks to gain velocity as somewhat of a replacement of an engine. The fight resolved without complications, slaying the boss and their sidekicks. We buried the latters, and retrieved the former to prove the job done.
