The party went to the Frozen North and found the source of the storm, a group of giants who were using it to hold off a horrible fire monster. The giants then assisted us in ending the storm they caused, which we did successfully.

Sukemoru Uzuto, The Ashen Hawk, Damin Saltric, and Saorie Tylmae met up in the Guild Hall and got a debriefing from the coffee-loving Desconocido secretary, Desconocido, about the storm impeding the winter expedition. The group then heads to the Elemental Portal Shrine where they step through the portal to the Frozen North, where they navigate towards where the expedition is. Eventually the snowstorm gets bad enough that the party is forced to seek refuge in a cave, but the cave was inhabited by dragons, who attack the party on sight with the intention to eat them. The party was able to defeat the dragons easily enough and interrogated the one survivor (after Tylmae cooked up some dragon meat), who accidentally revealed that the storm was caused by giants. Angered at Damin and Tylmae's heckling, the dragon flies off, the party letting him go.
Staying the rest of the night in the cave, the party headed out in the morning and finally tracked down the expedition, where they introduced themselves and traded information. Taking Talgra with them, the group was able to track down the frost giants responsible for the storm, led by a Desconocido named Tahrg Hach. After a short conversation, the group learns that the giants made the storm to keep a powerful creature at bay. In exchange for getting rid of the storm, the party agrees to take out the creature, with the giants leading them to the edge of its domain. Entering into the severe heat, the party track down the massive creature and defeat it, even after it reveals that it was nothing more than a shell for the elemental within.
Returning to the giants, Tahrg uses a horn to spread the word to another faraway group, before being led to a sacred place where the ritual for the storm was performed, in the side of a mountain. There, they meet the shaman, Schörn who created the storm, incredibly emaciated due to the effort of creating it. He assists the party in the ritual, and together the group brings the storm to an end. In the aftermath, the giants agree to negotiate with guild members in their territory, while also mentioning that there are other sacred places that are hidden and lost to time.
