Got recruited as bodyguards for a caravan. Caravan was attacked. Killed some demons. Continued our journey. Killed some more demons. Went into the mountains. Killed even more demons. Finally killed a big demon.

Ah, meeting, gotcha. We found Travis, that's the guy I think, and went over to that camp on the other side of the portal. Still needed some stuff getting ready. Had to meet couple more people, they were late, but we found 'em quick enough. Next morning we left for some forward camp in the mountains. Really close to that place where I was before, fighting demons. Guess that why Emrys, Arthur and Cati all showed up to help. It was pretty boring, most of the time, but we did get to have some fun on the way. Found a wreck of the other ship... erm, caravan. Dretal says it smelled of sulphur? No ambush there though. Figured guys were kidnapped, but with caravan we already had, well, better keep 'em company till they're safe. We did get ambushed eventually. I have no idea what they were called... I know there were those guys that really like fire, shorties. Oh, some like, completely red with spears. I even got one of 'em later. The spears I mean. There was one that was blue, and was keeping some guys as slaves. He was fun, I got to fight him by myself for a bit, and and actually killed him.
I think the fire ones are Brimoraks. Spears belong to a Babau, and the boss sounds like a Kalavakus.
Nice, thanks. Anyway, we eventually reached the place we were going to. More demons were roaming around, so we had to be sneaky-sneaky all like. Went pretty well, grabbed one of the spears for later, killed some more demons, and found some guys trapped in some prison. Said they were being worked to the bone by the demons. There were even more guys in the basement, locked. Were there so long that they thought we were demons. Said they were mining out the mountains for them.
And you followed the mine shaft that they were digging, I take it?
Aye. The other guys had to kill the demons, or something, so I might as well join and enjoy myself. The mine was... I dunno, it was miney. We found some underground building inside, guess that's what they were looking for? More demons were guarding it. A complete rabble, but there were a lot of 'em. Like, a lot. A shi...

Fine. We here. We killed the demons. One did somethin', then nothing happened but Emrys collapsed. That was weird but he was feeling pretty weak in general. Went inside. They had some wicked cool material there. Like... really dark sort of glass, that was reflecting weirdly. I played with it for a bit, but then Emrys asked me to help clearing some rubble. That opened some stairs down. We went down. It was pretty long, but we found some people, I think... and a magic circle. Emrys seemed scared shitless of something. Something shook, something flashed, and then there was a demon. Big one, heavy. Had six arms. He was tough. Appeared from somewhere... I have no idea, actually. But it was pretty. Felt really confident though. Grabbed him with magic while he was focused on Emrys and we started slashing, more than he could take. After a bit he just up and vanished, leaving just a straw doll behind. Emrys said it could be dangerous, but he checked it and just left, so I got a trophy.
I think that's called an effigy, could be used in summoning. You should not flaunt it around, people who know that might be concerned.
