Short summary:
Brought cargo to Zar-Mothet. Some Iruxi tried to convince us not to do the ritual, and when it became clear we would, attacked us. Shadows were released from the vase, saved Cal from dying, and an army of Kobolds came to fight the Iruxi attacking us. We then continued on to Eryn where we found a lighthouse split across several times and Remi talking to a galaxy being. Remi played a loom which got rid of the temporal artifacts and a giant dragon (Khalidron) came and was really angry and tried to kill us so we recalled out.
Full Report
We arrived to the island, Zar-Mothet, where we saw a strangely larger number of shipwrecks on the beach. As we ventured inland, we were met by two Iruxi who spoke of a madness infecting the Kobolds on the island. The entire party felt a little anger, but Pita felt it most strongly. The Iruxi knew Pita felt it more strongly as well. The Iruxi can sense a 'stench' from the crate and ask of it. As the party references the shadow, the Iruxi obviously know something and tell the party they can lead them to the correct location.
The Iruxi led us to the ritual site (crater), which they called a wound, and tried to convince us not to do the ritual. After discussion, the party chooses to continue with the ritual. When Truth started the ritual, they killed him and attacked us. Truth reincarnated as Lie, and attacked the Iruxi. As we fought, more Iruxi came, and the vase slipped open releasing the shadows within, which blanketed the area. An army of Kobolds came to attack the Iruxi.
At this point, Cal had been defeated, but the shadows saved him and then vanished. All the Iruxi were defeated, and the remaining Kobold army was not hostile. It seems both sides want to be amicable with outsiders. The kobold army showed Pita a glimpse of their guardian, The Mother.
We left the island and continued on to our original destination, Eryn. A lighthouse near the shore was experiencing odd temporal artifacts. Different areas were in different times, so that you would time travel as you walk around. On the wall we could see into an area housing Remi and a creature made of stars. They seemed to already be in conversation. Remi then used a loom, which erased the temporal artifacts, rendering the area mundane. The area we were looking into housing Remi then vanished, leaving a normal lighthouse.
Shortly after, a giant dragon (Khalidron) appeared and expressed anger about 'who dares fix what was left broken. The loom was bound sealed by the final thread'. Pita sensed the dragon was about to use its breathe weapon on the party and called for everyone to recall, which they did.
So in summary, we have the Iruxi aligned with shadows that saved Cal, and the Kobolds aligned with a dragon god that are against them, and presumably the entity Remi was talking to?
