Inofficially, however, the guild is widely suspected of operating a far more clandestine business: arranging “accidents” for clients willing to pay. These covert contracts can include sabotaging rival workshops, collapsing inconvenient buildings, or destabilizing infrastructure at critical moments. Such operations are carefully disguised as natural failures, poor construction, or unfortunate misfortune, allowing the guild to maintain plausible deniability.
