SHIGEKO'S DOSSIER: Sharp's cousin is older and wiser possibly because his patron is Shosuro Hyobu herself. I have encouraged him to try to exert
some control over his venal kinsman, but to no
avail. I can only hope that Sharp will learn from example.
Subtle is also an exporter, but unlike his brother he transports
his goods by land, taking them through Beiden Pass to the east,
and then into the heart of Rokugan. He moves a great many
goods, but his primary interests are sake, silks, timber and fine
ceramics.
