Mining is a Secondary General Skill that denotes skill at identifying, extracting, and processing mineral resources from the earth: identifying ore deposits, operating drilling and excavation equipment, ensuring structural stability underground, and managing the particular hazards of a profession that has been killing workers since before written records.
- This General Skill is useful for side jobs, but more importantly, an experienced miner can massively improve the functionality of an Extractor, and even commission the extraction of certain Rock or its derivatives (as long as they are a Natural Resource 🪵) for the party's direct benefit. It is referenced in the Downtime Rules and the Estate Rules.
