A pre-measured alloying addition formulated for Hardened Steel production, consisting of ferrochromium, ferromanganese, ferronickel and ferromolybdenum. Sold in sealed 1kg units by specialist metallurgical suppliers, which can be reused a determined number of times. Using a pre-mixed agent eliminates the need for precise in-furnace weighing of individual elements and reduces the risk of compositional error in the final product.
1kg of hardening agent contains 30 units, hence, it can be used to manufacture 30kg of Hardened Steel.
