The Nest of Otrogg — Player Recap

You’ve descended into the Hive’s forgotten warrens, where rot clings to the stone and every shadow seems to twitch. The air here is heavy — damp with fungus, alive with chittering things. You’ve followed the trail of the pest-god’s followers and found their legacy still crawling in the dark.

  • At the Wolf Den — The old cult entrance now belongs to a wolf pack, but the insectile idol on its ledge still watches the shaft below.

  • The Gravel Grotto — You found the serpent-spiral seal, a barrier holding pest-born creatures at bay — for now.

  • Echoing Pools — Mineral water, a buried coffer, and the shattered stone tablet needed to open a sealed door deeper within.

  • The Crimson Pool — Still and red, the parasite waters promised transformation for the faithful — and something far worse for the unready.

  • Rotting Bunks — Moldering cots and fungal stench concealed healing pastes and a potion of diminution.

  • The Arcane Door — With the tablet reassembled, you breached the tomb of Lythurgik Truluj, the Broodfather himself, and put down his vermin-riddled corpse.

  • Crawling Hazards — Green slime on the ceiling, swarms of buggus, and the choking air of a refuse heap that hid valuable relics.

  • The Fungal Groves — Phosphorescent gardens, puffball-lit paths, and towering mushrooms hiding things that scuttled, flew, and struck from the dark.

  • The Brood Queen — You faced her in the egg-choked depths, her death grip beetles fighting to the last in her defense.

  • The Idol Pool — Beneath its glowing waters lurked the bale snail, guarding coins, relics, and the strange magic of the Froghammer.

You’ve left the tunnels scarred by fire, steel, and your passage — but you’ve also left much behind. The idols still stand. The parasite pool still ripples. And deep in the stone, the swarm still listens.
