Brutus Goodmanus was an athletic High-Elf that served in the House Mercadus army for many years. During a campaign of conquest, Brutus' platoon was ordered to capture a small village and massacre all its inhabitants, including woman and children, to ensure there were no witnesses. Appalled by these practices, he decided to disappear into the night and desert the army, branding him a traitor, but maintaining his dignity and honour.
He decided to go into hiding and build a new life. In the village of Raamsdonksfir, he met and married his wife and a couple years later their first and only son was born called: Saulus Goodmanus. Though he had always figured he would die on the battlefield for some fancy lord he had never met, he passed away from sickness in the comfort of his own home with all his loved ones near him.
