Six thousand years ago, something terrible was defeated at catastrophic cost. The records disagree on what happened. The victors vanished. The world rebuilt over the scars and convinced itself the past was dead.
It wasn't.
You wake in an abandoned farmhouse outside Canorate, the iron heart of Molthune. No memory of how you got there. A burning mark on your left hand. The taste of copper in your mouth. And someone pounding on the door, shouting about disappearances at the festival.
The world does not need heroes. It needs people willing to make the choices heroes won't.
