Description

Before goblins and orcs were made, another foul type of creature was designed by the gods of evil. Seeing the might of the dragons, the god of war tried to copy their power and create a race that would be directly under his commands. Kobolds were made. Despite that god's best effort, the dragons' power could not be easily copied. Very few features passed onto those small humanoid beings. Dragons that saw those creatures were furious and insulted by a race that pretended to be them in two legs. Dragons unleashed their fury against kobolds everywhere they found them, ending in massive genocides. That also led to dragons deciding that if there's gonna be a humanoid race that inherits any of their legacy, they will be the ones to make it happen, not a war hungry god. Kobolds were the first race to face near extinction so early. Hunted by dragons, they fled to he one place, dragons care little about. The Savage Lands. The fear of dragons or any creature that resembled them was deeply instilled in them, despite having some draconic-like abilities themselves.

Kobold have reptilian scales of rust color, and claws that resemble draconic anatomy.
