Description
Dragonborn with metallic ancestry lay claim to the tenacity of metallic dragons— bronze, copper, gold, osmium, and silver—whose hues glint in their scales. Theirs is the fire of hearth and forge, the cold of high mountain air, the spark of inspiration, and the scouring touch of acid that purifies.
Genetics
As their name implies, these dragonborn come from Bronze, Copper, Gold, Osmium, and Silver dragons, making them much more inclined towards good. Their ancestors protected mortals even at the cost of their kin, when the gods ravaged the lands recklessly during their war. Metallic dragonborn believe in the coexistence of dragons and mortals and want to show the world how good that would be.
Reputation
Same as other dragonborn, they are feared warriors and considered a proud and noble race. Within the dragonborn societies, it is known that when something goes wrong, there's a chromatic dragonborn behind it.

Breath Weapon: When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of magical energy in either a 15-foot Cone or a 30-foot Line that is 5 feet wide (choose the shape each time). Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 plus your Constitution modifier and Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, a creature takes 1d10 damage of the type determined by your Draconic Ancestry trait. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage. This damage increases by 1d10 when you reach character levels 5 (2d10), 11 (3d10), and 17 (4d10).
You can use your Breath Weapon a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Draconic Resistance: You have resistance to the damage type associated with your Metallic Ancestry.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.
Languages: Your character can speak, read and write (writing requires INT score 6 or higher) Common and Draconic or one other language of your choice that you and your DM agree is appropriate for your character's backstory. A list of languages and their regions can be found in Languages.
