Description

Gem dragonborn are an oddity. Their origins are unknown, as there were no Gem Dragons seen in the lands of Arda. The name was mentioned for the first time by other dragons. Chromatic and Metallic dragons would confirm these dragoborn were made by dragons but they would not explain anything further. All sorts of speculation have risen to answer the mystery. Gem dragonborn could not communicate directly with their ancestors as they didn't know they were. Their population has been very low compared to the other two groups.

Genetics

Gem dragonborn are considerably more frail in constitution than their two sibling groups, making them live shorter lives (around 50 years). They have no strong inclination towards good or evil and are often wandering to find purpose.

Reputation

Gem dragonborn are perceived as oddities, with strangers finding hard to interact with them. Some treat them as creature not from this world, while other believe they are results of some dragon experiment that went wrong.
