Description
Gnomes were one of the first small races. Originally created to be creatures of the mind, rather than of the body, Gnomes were given the drive and means to learn and research. Combined with a lifespan that lasts a quarter of a whole era, those creatures quickly become a core part of the civilized world. After the War that broke the world ended, the majority of Gnomes surfaced back. They did not forget what they saw below. The earth is filled with all kinds of treasures and magic of different kinds. The realization that the Gnomes had everything they needed right below their feet, settled in. It didn't take long for Gnomes to gain the reputation of researchers of magic and earth. Neighboring nations of Ironbeard and Trovius were quickly forced to make trading alliances seeing how Lynev was advancing with alarming pace. The Gnomes that were behind all this advancement, took the name Rock Gnomes and were respectable teachers of magic and creators of magical ore batteries.
Origins
Gnomes, were created by Iskar who infused them with the mindset of creators, tinkerers, tradesmen,
and researchers. Forest gnomes focused more on magic creation and utility
rather than tools.
Genetics
Gnomes have strong instincts driving them to create, alter, tinker, analyze
and invent. Their morality is spread on all 3 axis of good, neutral and evil
and so is their relation with chaos and order. Their bodies were made as small
as possible, but big enough to handle tools. Iskar also gave them
disproportionally large heads, to house bigger brains needed for
inventions.
Lifespan
Gnomes live around 500 years.

Rock Gnome Traits
As a rock gnome, you have the following racial traits.
Ability Score Increase: Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Size: Gnomes are between 3 and 4 feet tall and average about 40 pounds. Your size is Small.
Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision: Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Gnome Cunning: You have Advantage on Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Gnomish. The Gnomish language, which uses the Dwarvish script, is renowned for its technical treatises and its catalogs of knowledge about the natural world.
Tinker: You know the Mending and Prestidigitation cantrips. In addition, you can spend 10 minutes casting Prestidigitation to create a Tiny clockwork device (AC 5, 1 HP), such as a toy, fire starter, or music box. When you create the device, you determine its function by choosing one effect from Prestidigitation; the device produces that effect whenever you or another creature takes a Bonus Action to activate it with a touch. If the chosen effect has options within it, you choose one of those options for the device when you create it. For example, if you choose the spell’s ignite-extinguish effect, you determine whether the device ignites or extinguishes fire; the device doesn’t do both. You can have three such devices in existence at a time, and each falls apart 8 hours after its creation or when you dismantle it with a touch as a Utilize action.
