Etherion is a lesser fragment, tasked with reminding the mortals of Arda, of the power that kindness and altruism can have. When the world plunged into war and chaos during the 2nd era, Andralte felt the pain of her followers and also their reduction in numbers. People were losing faith, and if war was upon them, praying to gods of war seemed to bring more direct results. Thus, she sent one of the lesser fragments that was under her rule, Etherion. To mortal eyes, Etherion looked like a winged human, a pure and simple angelic form. Yet, his radiance and aura, could soothe even the angriest hearts and bring hope to the most desperate mortals. In exchange for acts of kindness and altruism, he would grant people power to overcome evil. He was there to show that it's not only sacrifices to gods of war that can help you win one. Many of those who had no inner source of magic or the years to study, formed a pact with Etherion, striving to use their powers for fairness and kindness.
