Family Origins
The Longchamp Dynasty began with Tey Longchamp. He (in what he felt was a move of genius) poisoned his father and obtained his inheritance early which he used to purchase a small plot of farmland. Initially, he tried growing his own food, but when a mysterious stranger came by looking for help.
This stranger had claimed to had killed someone and was looking to get rid of the body. With gold on his mind, Tey agreed to get rid of the body in exchange for gold. This deal was the start of Tey’s fortune.
Word had gotten around because of this stranger, and soon Tey found himself buried in sordid requests from affluent people across Unified Caldar for his “services”. As he amassed his fortune, Tey expanded the land he owned, eventually claiming 50 acres of Aldion plains as his property. Over the years, and through many illegal and violent means, Tey was able to start his vineyard through slave labor and using “donations” from his patrons as prime fertilizer.
