Backstory
Where did your character grow up? What place do they call "home" now? (could be the same or different):
Uriel grew up with his twin brother in a sizeable town within the nation of Darna. Within this sizeable town, two major locations are where the brothers both spent time would be their home upon the lands of the Evris Vineyard as well as within the tavern known as the Cheeky Devil.
Who raised your character and how? What are these people doing now?:
Evelyn and Michael Evris, the Mother being currently deceased, spent most of their time raising the twins. However one who played an important role of helping the less mentally fortified twin develop was a charismatic tiefling by the name of Ricky who owned the Cheeky Devil, the tavern where they would eventually both hand out and spend time together at.
How did your attribute scores affect your character?:
Certainly having such potent strength allowed Uriel to excel in his youth and later years about the Vineyard, being able to actually till the land for when the new growing seasons for the grapes started. With his high charisma, he was easily able to find himself making all kinds of friends- answering the day with a smile! Where he struggled was moreso with his more scholarly pursuits, only being able to barely read and have a slow time processing things..
What made your character obtain the class they have now?:
Well, losing his Mother was not an easy thing for Uriel. Still to this day it it something he struggles to really come to terms with. At first becoming a fighter was more likely as he was inspired to eventually follow in his maimed Father's footsteps, but since the passing of his Mother? He wanted to be more than a soldier- that and his being an Aasimar has him more inclined to the energies a Paladin manipulates.
What your character doing in recent years before the campaign's start?:
Traveling and searching to find the one he only knew as Avacyn, the one who he was to propose to who killed his Momma with his twin brother.
What motivated your character to leave their previous lifestyle and become adventurers?:
Really it was the death of his Mother, pushing him to realize that there is so much more to the world- and to his simple mind? Many chances to prevent these sort of bad things if he tried his best.
What people are important for your character?:
Currently the most important people in his life as of now are his 'Uncle' Ricky, his Father, and his Twin Brother. Eventually he will find the friends he makes to be on this list!
What connections does your character have to the other player characters?:
To Zeke? That is simple, being his twin brother. River, Hanna's character, met Uriel upon one of these nights of traveling! He struck up a rather friendly conversation with her after watching her perform, and congratulated her on such! Another connection he made is with a woman he only knew as Miss Trish, who traveled with the brothers for a few months before she had to leave on her own trail, being rather friendly.
Name a promise you have made to another player character that you would never break.:
A promise Uriel -will- make to Ezekiel, is that if he ever begins to become something terrible? He will try and stop him. After the Great Sleep. A promise Uriel and Zeke have made for one another, however, is to never lie to one another or skirt around the truth- no matter what.
If nothing happened, what short/long term goals does your character have?:
Uriel would be still trying to avenge the death of his Momma and to try and help out his Pops with the Vineyard, if he didn't have to be an adventurer. To work on upkeeping the family business while also producing enough revenue to assist the goals of his Twin! Even if he ain't too bright.
What makes your character a likeable adventurer that others would be willing to have to risk their lives for?:
Uriel, while not bright, is almost more pure of mind due to such. He is also especially outgoing and friendly, striving to leave anyone he talks to with either a smile or a good impression. A professional friend, if you will.
What has your character done in the past, that they now deeply regret?:
In Uriel and Ezekiel's youth, a town bully was not an uncommon thing. Especially with Zeke striving to the more scholarly path. One day when someone pushed over his brother, a younger Uriel pushed back. Perhaps too hard and not knowing his own strength- a serious injury was given to the other young boy. Something that now Uriel deeply regrets, leading to him not enjoying hurting people.
It don't feel good to hurt people.
Are there any people that would wish harm to your character and why?:
Hm, the only thing I can think of is perhaps Vampiric Minions of that evil woman who led Uriel on for a few years upon hearing that he -dared- to plan to propose to their mistress, or something.
