Eddric appears as a young human male perhaps 18 years old. He is well dressed in the manner of a moderately wealthy merchant. He has short black hair and a neatly trimmed beard.

Spirit's intentions.
Eddric was the younger of two brothers born to wealthy and successful merchant in Oerth. His older brother was favored by their father leaving Eddric always feeling rejected and left out. Jealous of the attention his older brother received, from a young age Eddric was always causing trouble, if only to get some attention. As the years went by his mischief grew and become darker and more dangerous. Eventually, one of his pranks resulted in the near death of his brother, who lost an eye and use of his right hand. In a rage, his father strangled Eddric to death in the dining hall of their own home. Eddric's spirit is cruel and callous, hidden beneath a veneer of polite behavior. He will seek to dupe those he encounters into dangerous, even deadly situations, just for his own amusement.
Spirit's personality and mannerisms.
Eddric will present himself as a polite and charming young merchant or noble. He will try to befriend those he meets, and strike up a conversation. At the earliest opportunity, Eddric will claim to know of a valuable treasure hidden nearby. This is always a ruse. If anyone takes the bait, he will describe to them where to find this valuable treasure, when in fact he will be guiding them into the most dangerous situation he can devise. Once they are stuck in the danger, Eddric will be seen watching from nearby with a cruel smile on his face.
How does it communicate?
Eddric can speak the Common tongue of Oerth. If he cannot communicate verbally he will use gestures to try to convice others to follow him and seek out this fictional treasure.
