Spell Description

You conjure four elemental forces that manifest as magical shields around creatures you designate. Choose one to four creatures that you can see within 60 feet of you. The elemental guardians float around them, taking the forms of shields. Each elemental guardian can be attached to only one creature and cannot change afterwards.

  • Air Elemental Guardian: Increases the creature's AC by 1 up to a maximum of 20. Can take the Dash or Disengage as a bonus action.
  • Earth Elemental Guardian: Increases the creature's AC by 3 up to a maximum of 22.
  • Fire Elemental Guardian. Increases the creature's AC by 1 up to a maximum of 20. Creatures that attack the target with melee attacks take fire damage equal to your proficiency bonus.
  • Water Elemental Guardian. Increases the creature's AC by 2 up to a maximum of 20. You have resistance to fire and acid damage.

At higher levels. Casting the spell with a 7th or higher level spell slot, summons two of each Elemental Guardian. Casting the spell with a 9th or higher level spell makes it not require Concentration.
