There is no sun in the outer realms, yet unless a dreamer wishes to shroud their surroundings in darkness, all is covered in a soft and steady light.
Many claim that this light is cast by a mysterious realm of light, a place made of pure essence, that radiates its power into the other realms and fills them with life and magic. Most who support this theory claim that it is the source of all essence, the birthplace of all spirits, and that if a person could ascend to it, they would become one with magic and turn into something more than human.
