Student Council of Cape Coast High. Members join the council often by vote of the student body, but are occasionally appointed by faculty in special circumstances. They're in charge of the planning and organizing of all kinds of events, activities, and policies within the school. On paper they're given a lot of freedom, but in practice peer pressure, tradition, and status quo mean the boat doesn't get rocked too much.

They organize dances (except for prom and homecoming, which they work in conjunction with specifically-formed committees), fundraisers, and policy changes. They operate as a go-between of the student body and faculty, and are often asked to act as representatives on issues. One of the most major of which was the uniform relaxation and later full repeal in 2022.

Student council members get pins, but they're only obligated to wear them at certain events. Most don't in fear of teasing.
