Adam's cousin, was present with Adam at the Eternizone theme park explosion about 2 years ago where he lost a leg. Following the event, Jacob found out about Adam's powers and began pestering him into becoming a superhero and to make him more comfortable with his abilities. Adam, who wanted nothing to do with his powers at the time, objected after more than a few one sided superhero designing sessions and one or two heart to heart conversations Adam was convinced and maybe even a bit excited.
Jacob is a huge superhero nerd. Once he shook hands with Phoenix punch , it took a week to make him wash that hand. He also tried to get Adam to talk to AEGIS to replace his boring civilian prosthetic leg with a bionic one to no success.
He's currently out of school and is thinking about what he wants to do now.
