Calling abilities magic may sound like a lazy way out of classifying, however magic is inherently unclassifiable. It's the use of some form of power conversion into a suite of extremely flexible and powerful abilities. Magic may be a means, however its scope is so broad to ignore the source would be ignoring the sheer breadth of abilities to which the user may have access.
