Language and slang shifts, and never faster than the advent of the internet. Words fall in and out of favor quickly, and for a teen being caught on an old trend or using old terms is a social death sentence. That said, we're not (all) linguists and especially not cunning, speculative, or predictive linguists. So this list of slang might be not at all true to what it will be like in 2028. Some of these are real, used terms currently, some are just absolutely made up. This is just for use in our setting!

| Heraux | Usually a poser. Someone who fakes having powers, or a hero whose acts seem fake, disingenuous, or for social media fame. Pronounced the same as 'hero', this often just used as a single word comment. | |
