Highlights from Buff Orpington's journal:
There is the old poem I translated, "Visit Ardea each season to gather the key to Tyton's Temple." Total dead end though, visit her where?
Have debunked the 'Beneath Saltar's Port' theory. There may be a temple underground, but it's clearly not for Tyton. Also, it's ridiculous to think it might be underwater, under the town. Please.
This was written in the margins of a manuscript about Tyton at the Avium "It only appears when the first day of winter coincides with a full moon. Charlotte will tell you if you're at the right place." I've never heard of this before and am suspect of its authenticity. Is this really a reference to the Isle of Tyton and the clues to find it? Who's Charlotte?
Why do so many clues point to the Isle of Tyton? Is it really that obvious? Granted, the island hasn't been inhabited for a thousand years, but others have searched it and didn't find anything. If I can put an expedition together I'll travel there and search the island.
Interesting side note~found a reference to the floating castle of King Rey Ciervo the Fourth, the last time all of Humblewood was united under a monarch (1,500 years ago?). Perhaps it's not myth. After I find the Lost Temple of Tyton perhaps this will be my next quest.
