With all the Captains and Commanders killed in The Last Battle at Alderheart, the gnolls splintered into small groups. Most fled Alderheart fearing for their lives. The Resistance convened a meeting to decide what to do with the remaining gnolls. Some argued for showing no mercy, hunt down and kill every last gnoll. Others suggested finding another world for them to go to and live. The discussion lasted for days and eventually a consensus came together.
The resistance leaders agreed that killing all gnolls, even the non-combatant men, women and children who'd been brought into Humblewood, would be an atrocity. At the same time, sending the gnolls to another world where they would subjugate the races there was not a choice either. Xander said it was possible to find a world that could sustain the gnolls and where they would be the only intelligent race.
So the gnolls were offered a choice, lay down their weapons and travel to another world, or fight and die. Tisk, the gnoll who'd been with the Resistance for some time, became their leader and took the willing gnolls through the portal Xander opened for them.
The Heroes of Meadowfen helped hunt down the gnolls who remained. Their ferocity persuaded more than one group accept the leadership of Tisk and travel to her. Eventually the party came together one last time in Meadowfen where they'd all first met and parted as friends each going their own way.
Snow went back to Alderheart and married Evelyn. They became a famous couple known as Snevelyn and had a whole flock of children. Amichai Brecht returned to live in Meadowfen and rebuilt the Temple of Tyton that the gnolls had destroyed. His mentor, Conicus joined him there and together they ministered to the towns of the area. Stories of Cyrus the Black would occasionally pop up throughout Humblewood of him showing up and helping Humblefolk and Birdfolk in need, only to disappear again without a trace. Dúnedain returned to his family home in Meadowfen and continued his family's business, often visiting Marcus Goldfeather to commiserate that being a hero isn't all it's cracked up to be.
