Dawn Device

The Dawn Device was a strongly warded golden Phylactery, created for the purposes of entrapping powerful Celestials and spirits such as the Primarchs of the Sun who were otherwise immortal. The mystic Runewright Talus initially created the device to stop the twins, Thavak & Gharok, in their onslaught within the Ruins of Twinstone. In this way, the Dawn Device has been instrumental in sealing spectral entities which threaten the material plane, along with containing ruinous artifacts like that of the Ebony Amulet. Despite these powers, however, it is relatively a mystery as to how the device works, although it is speculated that all which are trapped within are held in a perpetual state of inter-planar limbo and transported to a imprisoned demiplane contained within the device.
