The Ebony Amulet was an immensely powerful talisman which was known to allure those within its presence to drape its iron chain around their necks, oftentimes corrupting their hearts and minds in the process. For those who could resist its innate corruption, the talisman offered extraordinary powers and abilities many would consider unholy. Due to its incredibly dangerous nature, the talisman was purposefully locked away within the Museum of Lost Memories and studied by the Matron of Memories for sometime, later falling into the hands of Talyen who safeguarded it for a time, before placing it within the Dawn Device to contain its ruinous power.
