The Centaurians were an ancient species of centaurs that once roamed The Stillwoods, and specifically The Crowned Grove. They were the original inhabitants of the area and had a deep respect for nature and its cycles. They were skilled hunters, and their archery skills were almost unmatched in the forest. In addition to being hunters, the Centaurians were also skilled warriors, trained in hand-to-hand combat and the use of traditional weapons such as swords and spears. Their society was based on a matriarchal system, with the eldest female leading the tribe. They were deeply spiritual and believed in the power of nature, often offering worship to the Green Dragon, Verdan, for his guidance in fostering nature's growth. They were known to communicate with the spirits of the forest and often sought their guidance in decision-making. Although the Centaurians have gone into isolation from the world for many centuries, their legacy can still be seen in the ruins of The Crowned Grove, which they once called home. These ruins have since become the home of the Unknowns, who have learned much from the Centaurians and seek to preserve their traditions and knowledge.
