Princess Litsëa

Princess

Princess Litsea, also known as simply "Litsea" in Seregon, is a striking young elven bard from the royal court of the Sultanate of Sahar. Despite her 100 years, she is considered quite young for an elf, and she carries with her both the grace of her elven heritage and the wisdom granted by her royal lineage. With her long, flowing blonde hair and jade-colored eyes, her beauty captivates many, but she has managed to live relatively incognito in the city, where few know her as a princess or of her betrothal to King Wolfswinkel.

Litsea is not just any bard. She plays the guitar with the finesse and passion of someone who has spent lifetimes mastering the art, her music conveying not only entertainment but subtle political messages and heartfelt calls for unity. She is a direct descendant of two powerful figures—the Sultan Cirmacin and Ilmadia Mianala, her mother, who secretly wields significant influence in the political sphere. Litsea is well aware of the complex bond between her parents and their love for Ambergris, the Wizard, a relationship that remains a delicate secret in their court. To her, Ambergris the Wizard is a wise but vulnerable grandfatherly figure, deserving of protection.

Driven by the prophecy of the ~Sentinels of Seregon, Litsea takes her role as a bridge between the old Sentinels and the potential new generation very seriously. While her parents engage in diplomacy to stabilize the world, Litsea is more strident and aggressive in her efforts to fulfill the prophecy. She believes that mending alliances and pushing the adventurers forward is the only way to stave off the looming zombie apocalypse.

The courtship negotiations between Seregon and Sahar have become a heated debate, particularly concerning the succession of the throne. Seregon's democratic monarchy faces a dilemma: should Litsea, with her extended elven lifespan, be allowed to rule as queen after King Wolfswinkel's death, or should a regent govern until an heir matures? This has led to a political stalemate, with the Sultanate of Sahar offering tempting trade concessions to secure her place as queen.

In Seregon, Litsea enjoys the relative freedom of her final year before being thrust fully into these official roles. She spends much of her time in the lively Kerkhof Ferry District, where she can interact with commoners, observe the city’s pulse, and, most importantly, meet the adventurers who may become the future Sentinels of Seregon.

In her demeanor, Litsea is poised and confident, with a sharp wit that has earned her respect among those who recognize her true identity. She moves with purpose, her mind ever on the greater good and the prophecy she seeks to fulfill. However, her aggressive approach to prophecy and her royal heritage sometimes place her at odds with the more cautious members of the court and her betrothed, King Wolfswinkel.

Here father is Sultan Cirmacin. The princess is known to be friends with Ilmadia Mianala and Banar. She is working with the The Yard Rats. Helped Sentinels of Seregon during Red Flux Strikes at Kerkhof Station.

Anthem of the Sentinels

Anthem of the Sentinels

(To the tune of a rousing and fast-paced folk song, like "The Wild Rover")

Verse 1
When the darkness falls and the red fog’s here,
Lift your swords, stand without fear.
For the Shield of the Sentinels waits for the brave,
To guard the land and the lives we save.

Chorus
So rise, rise, Sentinel true,
The Shield will shine with the light in you.
In the storm and the fight, stand tall, stand bright,
For Seregon’s fate, we march tonight!

Verse 2
The black knight’s hands are cold and cruel,
But the Shield’s not meant for a heart that’s cruel.
Only the bold, with a spirit pure,
Can take up the Shield and make Seregon endure.

Chorus
So rise, rise, Sentinel true,
The Shield will shine with the light in you.
In the storm and the fight, stand tall, stand bright,
For Seregon’s fate, we march tonight!

Bridge
Through death and shadow, we’ll carve our way,
The Shield will turn night into day.
With courage strong and hearts that burn,
The Shield’s true bearer will return!

Verse 3
So fight, young heroes, the time is now,
The prophecy’s calling, you’ve made your vow.
Through blood and valor, the Shield will rise,
And we’ll see hope reign beneath Seregon’s skies.

Chorus
So rise, rise, Sentinel true,
The Shield will shine with the light in you.
In the storm and the fight, stand tall, stand bright,
For Seregon’s fate, we march tonight!
