Little Flower, a Tabaxi with leopard-patterned fur, is the High Priest of the goddess Asura, Goddess of Dawn. Each night, he hunts undead, keeping a promise to his priestess wife that he will return to her by each dawn to the Temple of Asura. Recently, he discovered sabotage in the city walls of the Old Knot District, which has allowed undead to terrorize the area. He suspects this sabotage is intended to increase protection money, a public work by theSeven Sins.
Several deaths involving criminal gangs have been linked to Little Flower, which has drawn the attention of Captain Dirk Vrederic, who wishes to speak with him, as does the Thieves Guild fixer, a burly brawler named Yonkers. Despite this, the people of the Old Knot District have remained neutral, valuing his efforts to protect them from the undead menace.
