This official Charter of Exploration grants the bearers the right to explore beyond 30 miles from the city of Seregon, into the untamed jungle and surrounding wilderness. The charter is required for any group traveling beyond this boundary and serves as proof of legal exploration sanctioned by the Ithosian Talons and the Assembly of Seregon.

Terms and Conditions of Exploration

  • This Charter allows the bearers to explore beyond 30 miles from Seregon. No charter is required for travel within the first 30 miles.
  • The Charter must be carried at all times and presented upon request to any agent of the Ithosian Talons or city officials.
  • It is unlawful to hire an unlicensed guide for any expedition beyond 30 miles. Only guides certified by the Guide Authority may be employed.
  • Failure to present a valid charter beyond 30 miles, or hiring an unlicensed guide, will result in 50% of any treasure forfeited to the Ithosian Talons upon return to the city.
  • To hire a licensed guide, explorers must visit the Harbormaster’s Office in the Kerkhof Ferry District. Guides are certified by the Guide Authority under Guide Mistress Welara Wisehand, and all licensed guides can be hired through her office.
  • This Charter represents the full backing of the Assembly of Seregon and is legally binding. Violation of its terms may result in confiscation of goods, legal penalties, or other measures determined by the Ithosian Talons.

This document is certified by Commander Splinter Hawthorne of Fortress Ithos and is valid for the registered explorers listed above. The explorers agree to abide by the laws of the city and conduct their exploration within the limits outlined in this charter.
