Fortress Ithos is a formidable stronghold located on the east side of the Lula River in Seregon. It was originally the first outpost established in the area and has since become the headquarters of the Ithosian Talons, a military force led by the disciplined and strategic Commander Splinter Hawthorne.

The fortress is a solid stone structure, which Hawthorne has meticulously repaired and upgraded to ensure it can withstand a full-scale invasion, despite being in the heart of the city. The fortifications include killing fields—areas designed to expose attackers to maximum defensive fire—and siege weapons, most notably cannons positioned for optimal defense.

Fortress Ithos is strategically positioned with easy access to the river, allowing for the swift movement of troops and supplies. This positioning also makes it a key defensive point should the city ever face an external threat. The fortress is known for its rigorous training routines, and the troops stationed there are some of the most well-prepared in the city.

Despite the fortress's militaristic atmosphere, Commander Hawthorne has also incorporated a temple to Ishtar into the renovations, reflecting a balance between martial discipline and spiritual care. Father Garbrandt, a male priest of Ishtar, has been brought in to minister to the troops, offering them spiritual guidance and support.

The soldiers stationed at Fortress Ithos often joke that Hawthorne takes the fortress's defenses too seriously, preferring the comfort of a brothel over the austere living conditions of the fort. Nonetheless, they respect her leadership and the security that her vigilance provides.
