Tripartide Non-Aggression Pact

Continental Defense Council Non-Aggression Pact

Preamble

This Non-Aggression Pact, negotiated by Ilmadia Mianala, is made between the Federated Monarchy of Aranthia, the Sultanate of Sahar, and the Khanate of Taruk, hereinafter referred to as “the Signatories.” Recognizing the need for stability, cooperation, and peace within their respective borders, the Signatories agree to the following terms to prevent conflict and foster collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

This pact is binding for a duration of five (5) years from the date of signing. The Signatories hereby declare that during the term of this agreement, they will refrain from all acts of military aggression or hostilities against one another, either directly or through third parties.

Article I: Non-Aggression

  1. Peaceful Relations
The Signatories commit to maintaining peaceful relations and resolving any disputes that may arise through diplomacy, without resorting to military action. The Signatories shall not engage in or support any form of military aggression or subterfuge against one another for the duration of this pact.

  2. Mutual Defense Understanding
In the event of external threats not covered by this pact, the Signatories shall meet to discuss collective responses, should mutual defense be deemed necessary.

Article II: Military Support

  1. Aranthian Military Stationing
Aranthia will station military forces along its border with the Khanate of Taruk to ensure stability and discourage any further aggression from the Khanate against the Sultanate of Sahar. These troops shall not be used for offensive purposes and will only act to uphold this agreement.

  2. Desert Warfare Tactics
The Sultanate of Sahar agrees to provide Aranthia with advanced desert warfare tactics and desert guides to assist in leveling the playing field in desert engagements, should conflict arise in the future. This training will be conducted annually by experienced Saharan generals.

Article III: Trade and Military Cooperation

  1. Horse Trade and Training
The Sultanate of Sahar will purchase 1,000 horses from the Khanate of Taruk over the course of five years, receiving 200 horses annually. The horses will be used for military purposes and trained under the supervision of Khanate horsemasters, ensuring skillful cavalry forces are developed.

  2. Dwarven Expertise and Runestone Construction
The Khanate of Taruk will dispatch 100 dwarven stonework experts to the Principality of Elarion (an Aranthian holding) to assist in the construction and erection of Runestones, critical to defending the Emerald Collective’s borders against the encroaching dangers from fallen nations.

  3. Mark III Crystal Technology Transfer
Seregon agrees to transfer Mark III crystal technology to the Khanate of Taruk, which will enhance their defensive and strategic capabilities. In return, the Khanate will sell 1,000 weapons to Aranthia over five years, ensuring mutual military benefit.

Article IV: Joint Military Exercises

  1. Annual Cavalry Exercises
The Signatories agree to hold joint cavalry exercises annually, rotating the location between the territories of Aranthia, the Sultanate of Sahar, and the Khanate of Taruk. These exercises will foster cooperation between the nations’ military forces, ensuring a shared understanding of tactics, communication, and mutual defense strategies.

Article V: Duration and Renewal

  1. Duration of Agreement
This Non-Aggression Pact shall remain in effect for five (5) years from the date of signing. At the conclusion of this period, the Signatories may review the terms and either renew the agreement for another term or negotiate new terms to better suit the changing political and military landscapes.

  2. Termination
This agreement may only be terminated prematurely if all Signatories agree in writing, or if one of the Signatories violates the core terms of this pact. Any breach of the agreement shall be addressed first through diplomatic channels, and all efforts shall be made to avoid escalation.

Article VI: Enforcement

  1. Oversight Committee
A joint Oversight Committee shall be formed with representatives from each Signatory nation. This committee will meet twice a year to ensure the terms of the pact are being followed and to address any concerns or violations.

  2. Penalties for Breach
Any Signatory found in violation of this Non-Aggression Pact shall be subject to diplomatic sanctions, trade embargoes, or other mutually agreed-upon punitive measures, as deemed appropriate by the Oversight Committee.
