Dread Herald of Van Droth

Dead

The Dread Herald of Van Droth is a terrifying amalgamation of undeath and Abyssal corruption, a testament to the lich’s mastery over life and death. Standing nearly ten feet tall, the Herald’s skeletal frame is wreathed in a shadowy, pulsating aura that seems to siphon the warmth from the air around it. Its body is adorned with remnants of ancient ceremonial armor, etched with runes that flicker faintly with a sickly green light. These marks seem alive, crawling and twisting across its blackened bones like malevolent sigils.

Its primary weapon is the Scythe of Ruin, a massive, two-handed scythe forged from blackened iron. The weapon’s blade glimmers with an eerie green necrotic glow, and cracks along its surface ooze a faint mist, hinting at the immense power it holds. The Herald wields it with unholy precision, its strikes capable of cleaving through both flesh and spirit.

Its face is a ghastly amalgam of a decayed human visage and Abyssal influence, with hollow eye sockets blazing with cold, malevolent fire. A jagged crown of blackened bone sits atop its skull, an unholy symbol of Van Droth’s dominion. A tattered black cloak, perpetually flowing as if in a storm, trails behind it, further amplifying its fearsome silhouette.

The Herald moves with unnatural fluidity, its presence radiating dread and despair. Its deep, guttural voice echoes with layers of otherworldly resonance, and when it howls, the sound pierces the soul, leaving its victims paralyzed with fear. In its wake, the ground blackens and cracks, the air heavy with the stench of death and decay.

The Dread Herald of Van Droth is not merely a guardian or enforcer; it is a harbinger of annihilation, an avatar of its master’s will, and a relentless reminder of Van Droth’s power. Its very presence on the battlefield signals that death is near, and resistance is futile.
