Her family brought her along when they moved in Tungsten, a corporate mining town in the Yukon Ranges in the late 1960s. She grew up for several years there before the tragedy of 1977, when during a freak snowstorm she got lost in the nearby mountains.
Her and twenty other kids were changed by that event. During that snowstorm her and the others were attacked by a small pack of wolves. During the fighting she and the others managed to kill two wolves as this triggered the Rift's effect as they all absorbed wolf like features.
Due to the weather they got severely lost, as by the third day they had all morphed into a human wolf hybrid. As hunger set in, they ran into the first investigation team sent by the CIA due to the anomalous climate. As their animal instincts kicked in they slaughtered the team.
She was one of the most affected, as such she killed 3 people all on her own, triggering Rift power again - beginning to regain her human like intellect. Soon after, they encounter a Native American hunting party and eviscerate them as well. At that point she split from the pack, able to regain her human form as well. She also picked the habit to take trophies from her kills.
Wandering in the area she faced a large grizzly bear head on, as she gained even more strength. While the others were trying to make their way back to the town, she encountered the second recon team - they opened fire on her, as she killed them.
As another freak storm hits the area, the Riftborn wolves attack the town slaughtering all the people inside. All the young wolves gave into their more animalistic tendencies, while she also enjoyed hunting those that bullied her while she was a normal kid.
As she wanders off, she encounters the third recon team. Due to Faith's scent being different than a normal human, she approached them with more of a curious mind. They manage to placate her with beef jerky.
The next day she tracked them as they surveyed the area, eventually ending up the in town. There she eventually would approach them, as they alerted the other wolves by starting a generator near the airport. She decided to help them, being able to take down most of the others alongside Faith, Hunter and Román.
It all ended for her when Alaric came in to grab her, as he managed to restrain her with the help of his hound as they brought her back to New York to try and reintegrate her back into society.
