Backstory
Growing up in a middle class family in New York, he joined the NYPD with hopes and dreams that were quite quickly dashed away as he realized how corrupt the system actually was.
Developing a streak of paranoia, as he believes it's only a matter of time until the elements of organized crime he's inconveniencing kill him. He doesn't trust anyone, especially not his fellow co-workers.
Becoming jaded over the years, he now mostly keeps his head down, doesn't ask too many questions and hopes to get by unnoticed.
